Asia Open Pickleball Championship 2025: AFP Opens Registration for Banner Event Slated for February
The Asia Open Pickleball Championship 2025 (AOPC 2025) to be held from the 18th to the 23rd of February 2025 at Hyderabad, India is now accepting players.
Organised by the All India Pickleball Association (AIPA) under the aegis of the Asia Federation of Pickleball (AFP), AOPC 2025 will have six categories—14U, 18U, 19+. 35+. 50+, and 60+. It will take place at the LB Stadium, with the Team Championship as the highlight event. It will also be using Pickleball Brackets and the DUPR rating system, with all matches to be uploaded to the DUPR system after the tournament.
Players who want to sign up for AOPC 2025 are required to sign up at http://www.pickleball.com and enter their valid DUPR ID as it will be used for the initial seeding process. Players who do not have a DUPR account yet can sign up for one at https://mydupr.com/signup. Once done, new registrants do the DUPR must join the Asia Federation of Pickleball (AFP) Club at https://mydupr.com/dashboard/club/5199113436/inf.
AOPC 2025 Registration Fees and Game Schedulue
Interested registrants are required to pay registration fees. The amounts are as follows:
Individual Events
- Junior – USD $25 per player
- Intermediate – USD $40 per player
- Advanced – USD $40 per player
- Open – USD $50 per player
Team Games
- Open 19+ – USD $200 per team
- Open 35+ – USD $100 per team
