Collette Extends Partnership with Pickleball Australia

Collette, a global leader in guided small group tours, has extended its partnership with Pickleball Australia as its “Official Holiday Partner.”
This partnership sees Collette taking an exclusive position at the upcoming Australian Pickleball Championship (APC) – the flagship event on the Australian Pickleball calendar.
The competition in Queensland in October brings together players of all ages and skills to compete alongside some of the best homegrown and international talent in singles, doubles, mixed doubles, and specialty formats.
Celebrating the partnership, Collette is inviting travel agents to step onto the court on 2 October from 6 to 9 p.m. at Pimpama Sports Hub, Pimpama, Queensland, for a friendly Pickleball Tournament with some great holiday prizes on offer.
“Pickleball is the trending sport of choice for active over 50s both in Australia and around the world,” Collette Australia Managing Director, Karen Deveson, said. “We know that the Collette traveller is both active and curious about the world, so we see this as a valued partnership with Pickleball Australia.
“This championship event will be a fun way to spend time with our travel partners in a relaxed, social setting, while enjoying a hit of Pickleball, a laugh, and some friendly competition.”
The evening features a friendly Pickleball tournament for travel agents, with participants able to register individually, or as a team of two. No prior experience is needed, with paddles provided, and members of Pickleball Australia available to coach players through the rules of the game.
“Our partnership with Collette allows our community to stay active, connected, and inspired both on and off the court,” Pickleball Australia’s Brendan Lee said.
The championship includes food, drinks, music, and exciting giveaways, including the major prize of a Collette tour for two. A complimentary return shuttle bus also runs from Brisbane to the Gold Coast to make the evening more accessible for attendees.
RSVP for the event closes 17 September, and spaces are limited. Agents are encouraged to register early HERE.
