Dinkdojo, Malabon Pickleballers Team Up with Picklebees, Bola for Free Pickleball Training at SM Grand Central
Yes, pickleball is picking up in the Philippines as well.
And it will only grow thanks to pickleball organisations like Dinkdojo, Malabon Pickleballers, and Picklebees. Not coincidentally, these groups have teamed up with Bola and SM Malls to grow pickleball even more through a free basic pickleball training on the 27th of January 2025 at SM Grand Central in Monumento, Caloocan City.
Dinkdojo’s roster of talented coaches, led by Sensei James Guiab, have been offering free pickleball training for first-time pickleball players. And they will look to do the same on the 27th of January at one of Metro Manila’s premier malls. The free training will also feature singer extraordinaire-turned-pickleball coach Wency Cornejo leading the sessions.
Other Dinkdojo coaches who will share their pickleball expertise in the said event are Blue Umali, Dave Cruz, RV Gutierrez, Len Umali, and Dimple Rodriguez.
Picklebees, which manages different club plays in Metro Manila, will provide support as well. To date, it has Malabon Pickleballers, SPS- St. Patrick School of QC, and VMMC-UHPTC Veterans Memorial Medical Center – Upper House Pickleball and Tennis Club under its auspices. It plans to add two more clubs sometime in the next two months.
Registration for the free basic pickleball training organised by Dinkdojo, Malabon Pickleballers, and Picklebees will start at 10:00 a.m. The actual training sessions will begin at 1:00 p.m. and end at 3:00 p.m. Paddles will be sponsored by Bola, a popular sporting goods store in the Philippines.
