Dinkdojo, MP Malabon Pickleballers, and Picklebees Host Free Play, Basic Training at SM Grand Central

Pickleball organisations DinkdojoMalabon Pickleballers, and Picklebees, strengthened by partnerships with Bola and SM Malls, are offering free play opportunities for picklers of all ages and levels as well as free training. Both are being offered every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at SM Grand Central in Monumento, Caloocan City.

This new schedule comes on the heels of the hugely successful Free Pickleball Training also hosted by Dinkdojo, Malabon Pickleballers, and Picklebees, in cooperation with Bola and SM Malls, on the 27th of January 2025 at the same venue. That free training was led by singer-turned-pickleball coach Wency Cornejo, with help from his fellow Dinkdojo coaches.

The courts for the free play and free training are located at Level 5 of SM Grand Central. Open play is being held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. The free training is being held from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., also every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.

Dinkdojo have been offering free pickleball training for quite some time now. And they are continuing to do so, bringing pickleball closer to Filipinos in and around the Caloocan-Malabon-Navotas-Valenzuela (CAMANAVA) area. Their roster of talented coaches is led by Sensei James Guiab. Aside from Coach Cornejo and Coach Guiab, other Dinkdojo coaches include Blue Umali, Dave Cruz, RV Gutierrez, Len Umali, and Dimple Rodriguez.

Among Dinkdojo’s most active partners, MP Malabon Pickleballers are a pickleball group based in the City of Malabon in Metro Manila. They regularly host open play pickleball, mainly within the city, providing local picklers various opportunities to play and have fun—hallmarks of the thriving global pickleball community.

MP Malabon Pickleballers are under the auspices of Picklebees, a local organisation that manages different club plays in Metro Manila. Aside from MP Malabon Pickleballers, Picklebees also oversee SPS- St. Patrick School of QC and the VMMC-UHPTC Veterans Memorial Medical Center – Upper House Pickleball and Tennis Club. They are planning to add two more clubs soon.

Together, Dinkdojo, MP Malabon Pickleballers, and Picklebees—with support from Bola and SM Malls—are helping the pickleball community in the CAMANAVA area grow even more and attract new players.
