IPA’s Arena Open PWR 200 in Kolkata Concludes in Style

The Indian Pickleball Association’s latest tournament, the Arena One Open PWR 200, concluded in grand fashion this weekend after three days of intense, entertaining pickleball action. Staged from 12 to 14 September 2025 at Ballygunge Arena in Kolkata, India, the Arena One Open PWR 200 delivered top-notch play across different categories, and saw new stars emerging from the competition.
Arena One Open PWR 200 Day 1: The Men Take Centre Stage
The men showed out on Day 1, with Keshav Goel outlasting Raghav Todi, 21-17, to nab gold in the Intermediate Men’s Singles. Completing the podium was Vineet R. Nair, who got the bronze.
Meanwhile, pool play in the Open Men’s Doubles was fast and furious, as the teams scrambled to make it to the Quarterfinals. Action in the Open Mixed Doubles was just as intense and frenetic, with the pair of Shreya Chakraborty and Anay Patil, and the duo of Tejas Gulati and Danielle Jones, making it all the way to the Finals.
Arena One Open PWR 200 Day 2: More Champions Are Crowned
Day 2 of the Arena One Open PWR 200 saw several golden finishes led by the pair of Maitreya Bhagat and Anay Patil, who outlasted Tejas Gulati and Vinay Sethia, 21-19, in their nerve-wracking Open Men’s Doubles Final. Mustafa Khan and Rahil Sanghrajka took home the bronze.
Day 2 also saw veterans Suryaveer Singh Bhullar and Nilesh Desai win gold in the 50+ Men’s Doubles after a dominant showing in the Final. Other winners were Aakash Kumar and Raghav Taparia (Intermediate Men’s Doubles), Kinni Shah and Nabila Sayed (Intermediate Women’s Doubles), and Anshi Seth and Atharva Sheth (Intermediate Mixed Doubles).

Arena One Open PWR 200 Day 3: Thrilling Action Concludes the Competition
Day 3 was just as frenetic, as new champions were crowned in different divisions. One of the big winners was Nilesh Desai, who dominated Ravi Jain, 21-10, to win the gold in the 50+ Men’s Singles. Meanwhile, Maitreya Bhagat claimed gold in the Open Men’s Singles after overpowering Tejas Gulati, 21-13. Dhiren Patil shone as well, nabbing gold in the 35+ Men’s Singles after topping Anay Patil, 21-14.
On the distaff side, Danielle Jones crushed Ishika Gupta, 21-6, to win the title in the Open Women’s Singles. The pair of Ishika and Shreya Chakraborty, on the other hand, dominated the duo of Dipti Srivastava and Amrita Mukherjee, 21-7, for the Open Women’s Doubles crown.
In all, the Arena One Open PWR 200 doled out Rs 3.5 lakh in prizes, while also underscoring Kolkata’s growing pickleball landscape. Just as important, the successful staging of the tournament highlighted the Indian Pickleball Association’s readiness and capability to hold top-notch competitions.
