Jack Wong Hong-kit, Yufei Long Top Latest PPA Tour Asia Rankings

Hong Kong’s Jack Wong Hong-kit and China’s Yufei Long are on top of the PPA Tour Asia rankings in Men’s and Women’s Singles, respectively.

Hong-kit, who won the Hong Kong Open 2025 and has three podium finishes in the PPA Tour Asia thus far, sits atop the Men’s Singles category with 2,400 total points as of press time (10 September 2025). His gold in Hong Kong netted him 1,000 points, while each of his third-place finishes in the Sansan Fukuoka Open and the Panas Malaysia Open gave him 600 points. Hong-kit’s quarter-final finish at the MB Vietnam Open 2025 added 200 points to his final tally so far.

Yufei Long Races to Top Spot with Three Championships

Incidentally, only 200 points separate Jack Wong Hong-kit from Vietnam’s Trinh Giang, who won the Panas Malaysia Open 2025 and is now the no. 2 ranked player in Men’s Singles after netting silver in the Hong Kong Open 2025 (800 points), and finishing fourth in the MB Vietnam Open (400 points). Rounding out the top three in Men’s Singles is another Vietnamese, Phuc Huynh, who has a total of 1,800 points.

On the distaff side, Long is the undisputed no. 1 with 3,600 points on the strength of three titles—in the Panas Malaysia Open 2025, Sansan Fukuoka Open 2025, and MB Vietnam Open 2025. Taiwan’s Yu-Chieh Hsieh is a distant second with 1,600, thanks to silver-medal finishes in the Hong Kong Open 2025 and Sansan Fukuoka Open 2025. Australia’s Nicola Schoeman rounds out the top three on the women’s side with 1,400 points, thanks to a silver in the Panas Malaysia Open 2025 and quarter-final finishes in the other tournaments.

Expect no movement in the rankings in the next three weeks. Things, however, could change by the end of the month after the Vietnam Cup, and in the first week of October after the Malaysia Cup.
