Major League Pickleball (MLP) has announced 2025 player keepers and drops for all 22 teams.
All teams were required to drop at least one (1) player from their roster as of Sunday, Feb. 16.
In order to be eligible to be kept, a player was required to meet all of these conditions:
- One of the 88 originally drafted players by either a Premier or Challenger team in 2024
- Ended the 2024 MLP season on a team roster
- Was not waived during the 2024 season
- Is under UPA contract through at least 2025
Rosters at both levels will be filled out during Free Agency, with Premier Free Agency on Sunday, March 2, and Challenger Free Agency on Monday, March 3.
For the first time, Premier Level rosters will expand to six players—three males and three females – and Challenger Level rosters will have four players (two males and two females).
