The first ever Perak Singles Pickleball League is all set.
The league is organised by the Perak Pickleball Association (Persatuan Pickleball Perak P3). It will run for six months, from February to August 2025, and give Perakian picklers a platform to showcase their pickleball skills.
Participants to the Perak Singles Pickleball League will have the opportunity to pit their pickleball prowess against one another, with the winners walking away with medals, prizes, and bragging rights. They will also be given the chance to be representatives of Perak in interstate pickleball competitions—including Sukma 2026 if ever it pushes through.
The six-month tournament will be divided into four circuits, to be followed by the Finals scheduled for August. The tentative dates for each circuit are as follows:
- Circuit 1 – 22nd February 2025
- Circuit 2 – 12th April 2025
- Circuit 3 –24th May 2025
- Circuit 4 – 5th July 2025
The Perak Singles Pickleball League will be based on point-ranking system, with points to be accumulated for each circuit played. The eight players with the most points after the four circuits will comprise the top 8 who will compete in the Finals.
The league is being sponsored by Sanctband Global, Facolos Pickleball, HTM Pharmacy, Hospital Seri Botani, and Pick A Ball – Ipoh.
Kicking of the Perak Singles Pickleball League will be circuit 1 on 22nd February from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00. The playing venue will be at Pick-A-Ball.
