PH-Based Quest Sports to Host Rizal Open Pickleball Tournament in May [Registration Still Open]
Quest Sports, part of Rizal-based Quest Adventure Camp, will be hosting the Rizal Open Pickleball Tournament. The competition is tentative set for 1–4 May 2025 at the USAP-standard pickleball courts at Quest Adventure Camp in Rizal.
The Rizal Open Pickleball Tournament will be for novice, intermediate, and advanced picklers. The categories are as follows:
- Novice – 18+ and 35+ | Women’s Doubles, Men’s Doubles, Mixed Doubles
- Intermediate – 18+, 35+, and 50+ | Women’s Doubles, Men’s Doubles, Mixed Doubles
- Advanced – 18+ and 35+ | Women’s Doubles, Men’s Doubles, Mixed Doubles
- Advanced – 50+| Mixed Doubles
- Open – Women’s Doubles, Men’s Doubles, Mixed Doubles
- Singles – 18+, 35+, and 50+ | Men’s Singles
- Singles – 18+, and 35+ | Women’s Singles
Quest Sports have also released the tentative schedule of games:
Aside from bragging rights, winners in the Rizal Open Pickleball Tournament also stand to win medals and cash prizes. Winners in each division will receive ₱10,000 in cash, while second and third placers will get ₱5,000 and ₱2,000, respectively.
As of 19 February, all slots for 35+ Women’s Singles have been filled up. Otherwise, registration is still open for the other divisions. Fee for the first entry is ₱1,000. Second entry will be ₱700.
