Pickle Champs Melaka, 28 Sport Café Pickleball Melaka to Hold Melaka Pickleball Cup in May
Pickle Champs Melaka and 28 Sport Café Pickleball Melaka are teaming up to hold the Melaka Pickleball Cup to be held on 3–4 May 2025 at 28 Sport Cafe in Melaka.
The Melaka Pickleball Cup will feature Mixed Doubles Open and Men’s Doubles Open categories, with a maximum of 40 teams per category. The tournament, which began accepting registrants on 10 March 2025, is open to Malaysian picklers only.
The tournament will start off with a round robin stage featuring eight groups of five teams vying in 15-point matches. The top two teams at the end of this stage will advance to the knockout stage, which will be best-of-three affairs of race to 11.
Prizes at stake at the Melaka Pickleball Cup are as follows:
- 1st Prize: RM1,500 + Trophy + Medals + Felet Prizes
- 2nd Prize: RM1,000 + Medals + Felet Prizes
- 3rd Prize: RM500 + Medals + Felet Prizes
- 4th Place: Medals + Felet Prizes
