Popular Malls in the Philippines Hold Free, Paid Pickleball Clinics as Summertime Reaches Fever Pitch

Several pickleball clinics—both free and paid—have been organised in the Philippines as the country goes deeper into summertime.
Ayala Malls U.P. Town Center Holds Pickleball Clinic with Decorated Coach
One of these clinics is being organised by Ayala Malls U.P. Town Center. This clinic is open for interested picklers aged 15 and above, who will just have to present receipts worth ₱3,000 from any Ayala Malls U.P. Town Center food and non-food stores (except Merkado, Landers, bills payments, and bazaars) to take part in four sessions—on 4, 11, and 25 May and on 1 June.
The four sessions will be facilitated by international gold medallist Ian Alcazar, who will cover the fundamentals of pickleball progressively in the four sessions, starting with dinking fundamentals and court positioning, followed by serving and returning and volleys and dink review. The last session will be devoted to review and a tournament.
Interested picklers can register until 4 May 2025.


SM City Novaliches Starts Giving Free Clinics
SM City Novaliches, a part of the SM chain of malls, is also offering weekend pickleball clinics for residents of Caloocan North and nearby cities. These coaching sessions are free and open to picklers of all ages and skill levels.
The free summer pickleball clinics are organised and conducted by Team Nomads MNL Pickleball and started on 26 April 2025. There will be succeeding clinics to be conducted every Saturday and Sunday until 25 May 2025. The exact venue is the Pickleball & Badminton Court at the Ground Level of SM City Novaliches. Clinics on Saturdays will start at 4 p.m. and last until 6 p.m. Sunday sessions will be from 10 a.m. to 12 n.n.


Robinson’s Dasmariñas Holds Summer Pickleball Clinics
Robinson’s Dasmariñas, a part of the Robinson’s chain of malls, along with Dasma Pickleball and Crosscourt Sports, will also be hosting summer pickleball clinics starting at ₱900 per head. The clinics will be held per batch, with the first one scheduled on 5–9 May and the second set for 12–16 May. These will feature one-hour training plus four hours of open play in each of the five sessions. The registration fee is ₱900.
The third batch will take place on 19–20 May and 22–23 May, while the fourth is scheduled on 26–29 March. Each batch will have four sessions of one-hour training plus four hours of open play. The registration fee is ₱750.
