PPA Tour Asia Brings Topflight Pickleball Back to Malaysia, Vietnam

The PPA Tour Asia legs in Malaysia and Vietnam were so good that they had to do it twice.
After successfully holding the Panas Malaysia Cup 2025 and the MB Vietnam Open 2025, Malaysia and Vietnam will again be the hosts of the next two legs of the PPA Tour Asia: the Panas Malaysia Cup and the Vietnam Cup. Even better, the two tournaments will be held in two successive weeks, one after the other.
Notably, both tournaments are of the “Cup” variety, which means they’re a step up from Opens. This is why more points will be at stake, ensuring fiercer, more intense competition as players look for bragging rights and ranking points.
Panas Malaysia Cup 2025
First up will be the Panas Malaysia Cup 2025, which is scheduled to take place on 24–28 September 2025 at two venues—9Pickle Setia Alam and Setia City Convention Centre, both in Kuala Lumpur. The PPA Tour Asia is promising an all-star line-up for this tournament, which will also feature different age and rating categories, aside from the pro events.

Vietnam Cup 2025
The action doesn’t stop there. Just two days after the conclusion of the Panas Malaysia Cup, the action shifts to Vietnam, where the Vietnam Cup 2025 will be held from 30 September to 4 October 2025. Two world-class venues—the Tien Son Sports Arena and Tuyen Son Sports Complex—will host five days of pure pickleball intensity, where legends are made and records are shattered.
The highlight of the upcoming Vietnam Cup is obviously the pro categories, but like the Panas Malaysia Cup, amateur picklers can also play where the pros play, as this tournament will also feature age groups and skill brackets, to go along with the much-anticipated pro divisions.

Vietnam and Malaysia: Asia’s Pickleball Hotbeds
That Vietnam and Malaysia are hosting another round of PPA Tour events isn’t exactly a surprise. Pickleball has taken off massively in both countries, and they are now widely regarded as the epicentres of the sport in Asia, along with India, and to a certain extent, the Philippines. Both Vietnam and Malaysia also have top-notch facilities and an enthusiastic pickleball fanbase, making them perfect venues for elite-level tournaments like the Panas Malaysia Cup and Vietnam Cup.
