Singapore Hosts Tournaments for Novice Picklers

Two pickleball tournaments for novice picklers are set to be played in Singapore this February—proving yet again that the sport is making considerable inroads in the Lion City.
The two tournaments—Singapore Pickleball Novice 2025 and Pickleball Doubles Championship 2025—are organised by Singapore Pickleball and Community Sports Network @Tampines West.
Singapore Pickleball Novice 2025
Singapore Pickleball, the national governing body for pickleball and a member of the International Federation of Pickleball (IFP) and the World Pickleball Federation (WPF), will be hosting Singapore Pickleball Novice 2025.
The tournament, open for novice picklers of Singaporean descent is especially for picklers who are members of the association or its affiliates. Only picklers with two years or less experience and have not medalled in any tournament will be allowed to play in Singapore Pickleball Novice 2025.
Registration for the tournament opened on the 20th of December 2024 and will be closed on the 17th of January. The final roster of players will be finalised on the 24th of January.

Singapore Pickleball Novice 2025 is slated for 8–9 February and 15–16 February. The matches will be played at Clementi Sport Hall Sector C and Pasir Ris Sports Hall.
Pickleball Doubles Championship 2025
The Pickleball Doubles Championship 2025 organised by Community Sports Network @Tampines West is for novice players with two years or less of playing experience. It aims to provide an excellent opportunity for these non-pro picklers to experience competitive play and develop skills.
Unlike other competitions that cater primarily to experienced or advanced players, Pickleball Doubles Championship 2025 offers a unique chance for new and less experienced players to compete on a level playing field. To ensure a level playing field, the tournament will not feature picklers who have already won medals. This will give beginners the chance to truly shine in a tournament especially for them.
The competition will have three mixed doubles categories: 40+, 50+, and 60+. It is scheduled on the 15th of February, with the games to be played at the Community Auditorium @ Our Tampines Hub.
