Skechers Launches New Pickleball Apparrel Collection

Name brand Skechers is going all-in on pickleball.
The US-based sports apparel maker has recently announced its first-ever pickleball apparel capsule collection designed by pickleball pros for pickleball players.
Professional players Tyson McGuffin and Catherine Parenteau helped out Skechers for this collection, which the brand touts as being built for all levels of play. According to the sports and lifestyle brand, every piece of apparel in this pickleball capsule collection blends comfort, style, and functionality, ensuring high-level play on the pickleball court.
McGuffin had previously collaborated with Skechers and Miller Lite on the Viper Court Pro shoe, one of Skechers’ first pickleball shoes designed specifically for the elite pickleball athlete. It features a supportive and breathable mesh upper with synthetic overlays for additional protection, a removable Arch Fit® insole, and lightweight ULTRA FLIGHT cushioning. Now, McGuffin helped Skechers design the new Speed Elite Singlet and the Digiwave 5-Inch Short for the brand’s latest capsule collection.
The Speed Elite Singlet is a high-performance tank that boasts Skechers’ GO DRI Infinity fabric for moisture control, bonded seams to prevent chafing, and strategically placed side vents. These features in a stylish design ensures maximum comfort on the pickleball court. The Digiwave shorts, on the other hand, are designed with double-layer construction for style and functionality and features SKECHWEAVE fabric for superior breathability and quick-drying.
Parenteau, meanwhile, helped design Skechers’ Courtside Performance Tank and Performance Court Skort. The chick tank top blends court-specific functionality with vibrant design, features GO SCULPT fabric for superior moisture management, has a dynamic scooped back, and boasts supportive seam placement and removable Air-Cooled Memory Foam bra cups for customizable comfort.
The Parenteau-inspired skort, on the other hand, is a skirt specifically for pickleball women’s players. It is made with SKECHWEAVE fabric construction to ensure optimal coverage and freedom of movement and has a supportive double-knit waistband and convenient undershort pockets.
Skechers’ capsule collection for pickleball also features the Viper Court Pro 2.0. This pair is a next-generation pickleball shoe that features an innovative mesh upper, podiatrist-certified Arch Fit insole, responsive ULTRA GO cushioning, and a Goodyear rubber outsole for superior performance.
To date, the pickleball market is continuing to grow along with the sport. The pickleball apparel market, in particular, expected to be worth around USD $626.6 million this year. Skechers is looking to get a piece of that large pie with its latest collection—one that the pickleball community is sure to welcome with open.
