Solarvest Pickleball Cup 2025 Adds Slots to First-of-Its-Kind Tourney After Warm Response
On 3 July 2025, one of Malaysia’s leading clean energy providers, Solarvest, made history by extending its sustainability commitment from energy to community sports with the launch of the Solarvest Pickleball Cup 2025. A first-of-its-kind tournament, the Solarvest Pickleball Cup 2025 will be held from 2 to 3 August 2025, at Picklefy, Shah Alam. This tournament will proudly stand as Malaysia’s first-ever pickleball tournament powered entirely by 100% renewable energy.
Two weeks after Solarvest’s landmark announcement, it’s clear that response to the tournament has been overwhelming to say the least, so much so that the clean energy provider has opened up new slots to accommodate the high turnout of players.
Specifically, Solarvest added an entirely new category—men’s singles—in the open division (DUPR 3.8 and above). Solarvest also added new slots to all categories in the novice division (DUPR 2.5-3.2)—men’s doubles, women’s doubles, and mixed doubles.
The tournament is open to the public, welcoming players from across Southeast Asia to compete in men’s singles, men’s doubles, women’s doubles, and mixed doubles categories. Winners stand a chance to take home over RM35,000 in cash prizes, professional-grade paddles, eco-friendly medals crafted by sustainability partner NatureLoop, limited edition Solarvest Pickleball Cup Puma jersey and other exciting gifts.

Each megawatt (MW) of power supplied to the Solarvest Pickleball Cup 2025 is certified by Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs), which stands as a testament to how athletic passion and environmental responsibility can seamlessly unite.
