World Pickleball League, ABI Health Team Up for Active Lifestyle Vision

ABI Health, a company known for its health-tech innovations, is collaborating with the World Pickleball League (WPBL) to inspire India’s citizens to live a healthier, more active lifestyle. The partnership will look to take advantage of pickleball’s growing popularity in the Indian subcontinent.
Pickleball, of course, is the world’s fastest-growing sport, attracting players of all races and ages because of its inclusivity, communal spirit, and fast-paced action. It is a sport known for encouraging community engagement and fitness through sport.
The WPBL, which is running its first season from 24th January to 2nd February 2025 is supported by PNG Jewellers. It features six teams sponsored by well-known brands and Indian luminaries competing for pickleball supremacy at the iconic Cricket Club of India in Mumbai.
“At ABI Health, we believe that health, wellness and prevention need to be part of everyone’s lifestyle in today’s day and age. Fitness and an active lifestyle are integral to a healthier tomorrow, and pickleball is the perfect embodiment of this ethos,” said Shreyas, Vice President of Global at ABI Health. “We are thrilled to support WPBL’s mission to make this sport a movement that inspires people to stay fit. This partnership reflects our dedication to building a healthier, more connected world.”
“We welcome ABI Health as a partner in this journey to elevate pickleball in India. ABI’s passion for promoting health and wellness aligns perfectly with our mission to make pickleball a sport for everyone. Together, we hope to create a platform that celebrates fitness, teamwork, and community spirit,” added Gaurav Natekar, Co-Founder and CEO of the WPBL.
Support for the WPBL has snowballed, with the league signing up FanCode as its official live streamer and Sony Sports Network for live TV coverage. It has also signed up major sponsors such as Volvo Car India and KLO Sports.
