Sunday Well Spent: LinkedUp Asia Hosts Grand MILO® Father’s Day Pickleball Tournament 2026
LinkedUp Asia knows how to put on a grand show. On Sunday, Father’s Day, it did so again—only this time, the event it held carried greater meaning.
In so many words, LinkedUp Asia gave families a chance to build stronger bonds through sports and community engagement on Sunday. Specifically, it allowed fathers and their children to get together and just have fun during one of the most special days of the year: Father’s Day.
That’s what the MILO® Father’s Day Pickleball Tournament 2026 was all about. Held at Tomaz Pickleball Club on Sunday, 21 June 2026, the tournament organised by LinkedUp marked Father’s Day in the best way possible—with a paddle in hand and family on the other side of the net.
Tournament Brings Families Together
This special Father’s Day edition tournament, a fitting follow‑up to the Mother’s Day Mixer Pickleball Tournament held last May, brought together fathers and their children for a day of competition, camaraderie, and celebration that went well beyond the scoreline. Multiple categories catered to different age groups and skill levels, ensuring that whether participants were young beginners finding their footing on the court, or seasoned players with years of competitive experience, there was a place for everyone—and a game worth playing together.
The atmosphere throughout the day reflected exactly what organisers had in mind. Cash prizes and exclusive stays added a competitive edge to the proceedings, while special deals, giveaways, and activities kept the energy up between matches. Free MILO kept players of all ages fuelled from the first rally to the last.
In the end, Team BOOMZ, composed of Azizul Azhar and Dzikri Dzakwan, ruled the competition, besting 31 other dad‑child pairings for the gold. Coming in at second was Team KVan (Wee Liang Eng and Wee Kayvan), with Team Pickle Boost (Donald Foo and Darius Foo) rounding out the podium finishers.
More Than Just Competition
But the MILO® Father’s Day Pickleball Tournament 2026 was so much more than just a competition. In fact, the real draw was simpler than any prize. Father’s Day tournaments occupy a unique space in recreational sport—the kind of event where the result matters a little less than the experience of sharing a court with someone you love.
