In the space of just six weeks, the Vietnamese brand has unveiled two distinct court shoes—Armor on 8 August 2026, followed by Dominate on 17 September 2026. For a company once known primarily for paddles, this marks a clear shift towards building a full kit for players.
Dominate: Built for the Demands of Play
Pickleball is relentless. Long rallies, constant split‑steps, and sharp changes of direction all demand footwear that can keep pace. Dominate is Wika’s answer to that challenge.
The shoe’s headline feature is the FLEX‑SHIELD™ Upper, a coated mesh designed to keep airflow moving while holding the foot securely during sudden cuts. It is light, breathable, and flexible, yet stable enough to withstand the stop‑start rhythm of pickleball.
Underfoot, the EVA midsole provides cushioning on landings, while HEEL‑LOCK technology secures the heel to minimise slippage. The outsole carries MULTI‑GRIP™ grooves, giving traction for lateral moves and pivots. Finally, an anti‑torsion shank adds stability and reduces the risk of ankle rollovers—a detail that separates a true court shoe from a running trainer.
Dominate arrives in four colourways—Grey, Navy, White, and Purple—with sizes ranging from 36 to 45. Pricing in Vietnam starts at 950,000 VND for the White edition, though smaller sizes appear limited to that colourway.

Dominate may be the headline release, but it was preceded by Armor, which launched on 8 August in five colourways. Armor marked Wika’s first foray into footwear, setting the stage for the rapid follow‑up. Together, the two models show intent: Wika is not dabbling in shoes, it is committing to them.
The double release comes alongside a busy period for Wika’s paddle range, which has seen the QD Air V2 with Quang Duong, the NEXT‑X, and the Forged in Fire launch tour all rolled out in recent months. Add in the brand’s eight‑player tournament team, and it is clear Wika Pickleball is positioning itself as a full‑service pickleball outfitter rather than a paddle specialist.
Looking Ahead With Wika Pickleball
For now, Dominate and Armor are listed at Vietnam prices, with no word on international availability. Wika’s paddles have reached Malaysia through tour stops and athlete appearances, so expansion is possible. Whether the shoes follow suit remains to be seen.
