Skechers Steps Launches First-Ever Pickleball Paddles Collection in Malaysia
Skechers already has players covered from the feet up. Now it wants to put the paddle in their hands, too.
The footwear giant has launched its first-ever Skechers Pickleball Paddles® collection in Malaysia, expanding from the shoes and apparel it already offers into equipment. According to the brand, the move deepens its involvement in the sport and its ties to the pickleball community, which it has built through events such as the Skechers International Pickleball Tournament – Malaysia Edition, held in May.
Three Models, One Goal
The collection has three performance-focused models, each built with carbon construction and Skechers technologies, and each aimed at a balance of power and control.
SKX Titans – Silver Titanium Carbon (RM309) is made for an attacking mindset. It’s listed as USA Pickleball approved equipment and has a PP honeycomb core meant to balance power, shock absorption, and durability. A lightweight build supports quick movement and fast reactions at the net, while a round shape provides a wider hitting area and greater forgiveness. Weight is centred around the hand to keep the paddle easy to control in rapid exchanges.
SKX Titans – 12K Carbon (RM269) is built for speed and aggressive play. Its 12K carbon fibre face is designed to deliver a stiff, responsive feel and extra pop on drives and fast volleys, while a frosted surface adds grip for topspin and backspin. It shares the round shape and hand-centred weight distribution of its sibling.
Skechers Pickleball Paddles® Bundle Set (RM459) is pitched at all-court players. It includes three Skechers Pickleball Balls, a drawstring bag, and the SKX Paddle Set Carbon Fiber. The paddle is listed as USA Pickleball approved, with a textured carbon fibre surface for spin, a PP honeycomb core for a softer feel and better vibration dampening, and a rounded rectangle shape for stability.

The two SKX Titans paddles, priced from RM269, are available nationwide at selected Skechers Concept Stores, including 1 Utama Shopping Centre, Pavilion Bukit Jalil, Pavilion Damansara Heights, Pavilion KL, Setapak Sentral, Sunway Pyramid, Suria KLCC, and The Exchange TRX. A Crowded Court
Skechers is joining a busy market. In a country that’s among the most active pickleball scenes in Asia, a brand with a ready-made retail network and a footwear audience may find a natural entry point. Whether the paddles can compete with specialist brands on performance is a question only players will answer, but at RM269 to RM459, the pricing is clearly aimed at newcomers and club players.
Then again, with Skechers already a familiar name on pickleball courts, the paddles may simply be the next logical step.
