The Philippine Pickleball League (PPL) has officially opened registration for the PPL Luzon Open 2026, scheduled to take place over two weeks in January 2026 (16–18 and 21–23 January 2026) at two locations—The Dink Lab and The Dink Lab Elite.
Categories
According to PPL, the PPL Luzon Open 2026 will have the following divisions vying for bragging rights and an estimated prize pool of ₱700,000.00 :
- Men’s Singles (Open and Advanced) [Open, 18+, 35+, 50+]
- Women’s Singles (Open and Advanced) [Open, 18+, 35+, 50+]
- Men’s Doubles (Open, Advanced, and Intermediate) [18+, 35+, 50+]
- Women’s Doubles (Open, Advanced, and Intermediate) [18+, 35+, 50+]
- Mixed Doubles (Open, Advanced, and Intermediate) [18+, 35+, 50+]
There will also be team events for Intermediate and Advanced categories. Additionally, the PPL Luzon Open 2026 will have the following special categories:
- Novice Mixed Doubles (Random Mix Partner)
- 17 and Under (Boys Doubles, Girls Doubles & Mixed Doubles)
How Much to Enter the PPL Luzon Open 2026
Registration fees for the PPL Luzon Open 2026 are as follows:
Team Events:
- Intermediate – ₱6,000 / Team
- Advanced – ₱8,000 / Team
Singles and Doubles:
- Open – ₱1,500 / Player
- Advanced – ₱1,400 / Player
- Intermediate – ₱1,300 / Player
- Novice – ₱1,300 / Player
- 17 and Under – ₱1,300 / Player
- Singles – ₱2,000 / Player
DUPR Limitations
The PPL Luzon Open 2026 will also be observing the following DUPR limitations:
Novice (Masaya): No Dupr to 3.0 Below
- Intended for new pickleballers and 1st time Pickleball tournament goer.
- Intended for Players who just want to have fun, connect, and enjoy the pickleball scene.
Intermediate (Marunong): 3.0 to 3.9
Advanced (Magaling): 4.0 to 4.9
Open (Malupit): Open to all but recommended for 5.0+.
