Pickleball in Malaysia: 4 Tournaments to Check Out

Pickleball fans in Malaysia are in for a treat this October and November, with four exciting tournaments lined up across the country. Each event offers its own flavour—whether it’s couples competing for fun, seasoned players chasing medals, or teams battling for big prize pools. Here’s a look at what’s coming, in order of play.

Cupid Cup by Vanilla Crepe – 18 October 2026

The first stop is the Cupid Cup, hosted by CPC Pickleball at Tomaz Pickleball Club. Running from 9 AM to 1 PM, this Sunday event is all about couples taking to the court. The “Husband & Wife” category is already fully booked, but the “Couple Category” still has slots available for dating, engaged, or “more than friends” pairs.

Prizes and giveaways add to the fun: a free couple cap, cash prize, a Vanilla Crepe whole cake, and Peakflow nose strips. With 32 teams per category, expect a lively mix of competition and camaraderie.

Ultra Cup Pickleball Tournament – 24 October 2026

Next up is the Ultra Cup, set for Saturday, 24 October, from 8 AM to 9 PM. The tournament has updated its details, including a total prize pool of RM27,800. Registration fees are RM210 for Novice and RM230 for Novice Advance categories.

Eligibility has been fine‑tuned under DUPR rules:

  • Novice: Current DUPR < 3.099, Career High < 3.199
  • Novice Advance: Current DUPR < 3.500, Career High < 3.599

With such clear criteria, players can expect fair competition and a chance to chase serious rewards.

TPV Kepong Battle Tournament – 31 October 2026

Closing out October is the TPV Kepong Battle Tournament, held at The Pickle Vibe Kepong. Categories are split by DUPR ratings, with combined DUPR < 5.6 and < 6.0 brackets across men’s, women’s, and mixed doubles.

The registration fee is RM250 per team, with a prize pool totalling RM15,000. Expect a high‑energy atmosphere, fuelled by competitive match‑ups and the dynamic branding of The Pickle Vibe.

Adenland Game Point Pickleball Championship – 7 & 8 November 2026

November begins with the Adenland Game Point Championship, staged at GamePoint Pickleball Club, Bond Hotel Rawang. Registration closes on 1 November, with fees set at RM220 per team.

Categories include:

  • Novice: Combined DUPR ≤ 5.99 (max 3.0 per player)
  • Intermediate: Combined DUPR ≤ 6.5 (max 3.5 per player)
  • Senior (55+): Combined DUPR ≤ 6.5 (max 3.5 per player)

Prizes are generous: RM1,800 plus a gold medal and hotel stay for champions, RM1,300 plus silver medal and hotel stay for runners‑up, and RM800 plus bronze medal for third place. The first 100 participants also receive a free shirt. With music, food, and family‑friendly activities, this promises to be more than just a tournament—it’s a community celebration.
