SM City Bicutan in the Philippines Opens New Courts

The pickleball craze in the Philippines is full speed ahead—and Filipino picklers are getting more and more courts to play in. Just this week, in fact, residents of southern Metro Manila and nearby areas got four new world-class courts to SM Malls.
The latest SM Mall to get in on the pickleball boom is SM City Bicutan, which has opened four new permanent pickleball courts by transforming its rooftop parking area into a hub for sport and community activity in southern Metro Manila.
The courts, located at the 3rd Level Parking of the mall’s New Wing, are part of the SM Active Hub initiative that aims to provide accessible recreational spaces for people of all ages and fitness levels. The new venue positions the mall as a growing center for the fast-rising paddle sport.
SM Sports and Leisure Center (SLC), SM City Bicutan, and Paloo PH executives joined Parañaque City Barangay Captain Mario Jimenez in officially launching the courts. Guests at the event took part in games, showing off their paddles and joining in on the growing popularity of the sport.
Open daily from 2:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., the courts offer “Open Play” sessions in two evening slots: from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and from 8:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. for ₱250 per person. Private bookings are also available at ₱450 per hour. Paddle rentals cost ₱100.

To complement the sporting experience, visitors can order food through the SM Malls Online app, with delivery available directly to the courts or to the Sky Garden, which also operates until 11:00 p.m. Options include meals from Zark’s, Max’s, Cinnabon, and Korean and seafood favorites from the mall’s food hall.
The pickleball courts join a growing list of outdoor and active lifestyle offerings from SM Supermalls, encouraging urban communities to stay engaged and physically active.
Bookings can be made via SM Tickets or on-site.
