Aside from those two tournaments, India is also slated to host the World Pickleball League (WPBL), which is set to start on the 23rd of January up until the 2nd of February. The WPBL is promising a memorable pickleball event—one that the League says “is set to redefine the sporting landscape in India, merging pop culture, sport, entertainment, and fashion.”

The WPBL also promises to bring the world’s top players to Indian subcontinent, where pickleball is growing by leaps and bounds seemingly by the day. The League has vowed as well to bring “groundbreaking experiences that blend thrilling sports action with captivating entertainment through interactive elements, live performances, and immersive technologies.”

The participation of the world’s top picklers and the WPBL’s promise of thrilling action and captivating entertainment are no doubt compelling reasons to tune in to the games. The tournament will be played in Mumbai at the iconic Cricket Club of India (CCI) in Mumbai. The league will feature teams from Chennai, Bengaluru, Delhi, Pune, Mumbai, and Hyderabad.
