Young picklers of Asia, get ready! There’s a tournament specially for you in July, and registration for it has opened.
The Asia Pickleball Junior Open 2025, jointly hosted by D-Pickleball and Asia Federation of Pickleball (AFP), is set for 13–15 July 2025. It will be held at 193 Huynh Thuc Khang Street, An Xuan Ward, Tam Ky City, Quang Nam Province in Vietnam. The venue has 8 sheltered and 4 outdoor hard court pickleball courts.
To incentivise young players to join, the AFP will provide complimentary rooms for picklers who hail from AFP member countries. The check-in will be on 12 July 2025, with check-out on 16 July 2025. The allocation is based on the number of participants from each country:
- 30 participants – 8 complimentary rooms
- 20 participants – 5 complimentary rooms
- 10 participants – 3 complimentary rooms
Categories and Registration Details for Asia Pickleball Junior Open
The categories are as follows:
- Boy’s Singles U12, U14, and U16
- Girl’s Singles U12, U14, and U16
- Boy’s Doubles U12, U14, U16, and U18
- Girl’s Doubles U12, U14, U16, and U18
Registration fee is set at USD $35 per event per participant. But to encourage more players to challenge themselves by competing in higher age divisions, the third and fourth event registrations will be free.
Registration for the Asia Pickleball Junior Open opened on 2 April 2025. It will run until 30 June 2025 or until slots are filled up.
