Canon Malaysia Takes Part in Pickleball Summit as Official Imaging Partner

The recently held Pickleball Summit in Malaysia—the first of its kind in the country—got great support from Canon, a highly respected international brand in the world of imaging and printing.

Represented by Canon Malaysia, the global company served as the summit’s official imaging partner and ingrained itself deep into Malaysia’s already robust but still growing sports landscape. It also served as the official imaging partner of the Alliance Bank KL Open Pickleball Championship 2025, which was held before the summit.

The twin events—the summit and tournament—were organised by Courtsite in collaboration with Alliance Bank. The Alliance Bank KL Open Pickleball Championship 2025 brought together more than 656 players, while the Pickleball Summit gathered around 300 industry stakeholders and a wide community of enthusiasts, highlighting the continuing rise of pickleball in Malaysia.

The summit itself aligns perfectly with the national goals outlined under the MADANI framework and the National Sports Vision 2030. Among these goals are to nurture inclusive wellness, encourage community engagement, and promote an active lifestyle.

Canon Is Committed to the Cause

Canon’s involvement as official partner to both events highlighted its commitment to these same priorities through its advanced imaging and printing technologies. The company specifically used the summit as a platform to showcase its different innovations through interactive exhibits. These exhibits displayed high-quality cameras and printers designed to capture sporting highlights and memories, either through photos or videos.

The company’s advanced, hi-tech cameras and printers aim to elevate engagement in sports and uplift the storytelling that makes sports compelling. What’s more, Canon’s Network Visual Solutions and creative print services showcased the pivotal role of quality imaging in strengthening sports marketing and operations—especially for a sport that is building its fanbase and rising through the ranks.

On a broader lens, Canon’s support for the two pickleball events reflects its philosophy of Kyosei, which simply means working together for the common good. This same philosophy, in many ways, is reflected in the sport of pickleball, whose appeal lies in part to the strong community vibes it fosters where everybody encourages and helps one another.
