Jack Wong Hong-kit, Yufei Long Keep No. 1 Spot in Updated PPA Tour Asia Rankings

After back-to-back PPA Tour Asia Cups—first in Malaysia and then in Vietnam—Hong Kong’s Jack Wong Hong-kit and China’s Yufei Long continued to reign supreme in Men’s and Women’s Singles.
Hong-kit kept the no. 1 spot with 3,900 points, barely staving off Vietnam’s Phuc Huynh, who recently won the MB Vietnam Cup 2025 Men’s Singles gold to raise his total to 3,600. Compatriot Hoang Nam Ly, a bronze medallist in the same tournament, came in at no. 3 with 3,200 points.

On the distaff side, Long continues to lead the Women’s Singles division with 4,050 points, followed by Roos van Reek and Sahra Dennehy, whose totals are 3,100 and 3,000 points, respectively. Van Reek was seventh a month ago, but silver- and bronze-medal finishes in the Panas Malaysia Cup and MB Vietnam Cup catapulted her to no. 2. Dennehy, who was fourth back in early September, climbed to no. 3 on the strength of a gold-medal finish in Vietnam a week ago.

Hong-kit, Ting Chieh Wei Top Doubles Rankings
Hong-kit also finds himself still on top in the Men’s Doubles rankings alongside partner Kim Eunggwon, even though they finished just fourth in the Panas Malaysia Cup and crashed and burned in the quarter-finals of the MB Vietnam Cup. Hot on their heels are Tyson McGuffin and Eric Oncins, who took Asia by storm and won gold in both tournaments to climb up to joint second behind the Asian pair.

In Women’s Doubles, Chinese Taipei’s Ting Chieh Wei managed to keep the no. 1 ranking, topping Australia’s Nicola Schoeman, 4,700 points to 4,500. At no. 3 and no. 4 are Danni-Elle Townsend and Xiao Yi Wang Beckvall.

Truong Siblings on Top of Mixed Doubles Men and Women
Thanks largely to their golden conquest in Vietnam, Jonathan and Alix Truong secured the no. 1 ranking in Men’s and Women’s Mixed Doubles, respectively, with 3,000 points apiece. Behind Jonathan on the men’s side are India’s Vanshik Kapadia, Australia’s Lucas Pascoe, the USA’s Ben Johns and Tyson McGuffin, and Australia’s Robert Stirling. On the distaff side, Townsend, Long, and Schoeman all made the top five.
