Anna Leigh Waters, Ben Johns Headline Big Winners in Carvana Masters Powered by Invited

The first PPA Tour event of 2026, the Carvana Masters Powered by Invited, offered up an explosive start to this season. And, perhaps unsurprisingly, the sport’s biggest stars in Anna Leigh Waters and Ben Johns came away as the biggest winners. In a nutshell, Waters achieved yet another Triple Crown, while Johns won two championships.

Here’s a rundown of what happened:

MIXED DOUBLES FINAL: (1) Anna Leigh Waters and Ben Johns def. (3) Anna Bright and Hayden Patriquin, 11-7, 7-11, 9-11, 11-7, 11-4.

• Waters and Johns: 58th title together.
• Waters and Johns finished Game Five on a 7-0 run.
• Johns and Patriquin had 20 Clean Winners each. First 20/20 in a mixed final since the Red Rock Open in March 2025, where Dekel Bar had a Tour finals-record 33 and Christian Ashon had 28.
• Bright: No errors on Serves/Returns/Thirds.
• 30 Offensive Lobs. Exactly half of those, the team that hit that lob won the rally.
• Longest rally: 46 shots.

MEN’S DOUBLES FINAL: (1) Ben Johns and Gaber Tardio def. (3) Christian Alshon and Hayden Patriquin, 11-9, 11-4, 11-5.

• Johns and Tardio’s 10th title together.
• Johns: Match-high 11 Clean Winners.
• Patriquin: 5 errors on Serves/Returns/Thirds. (Match had 10 total)
• Longest rally: 38 shots.

WOMEN’S DOUBLES FINAL: (1) Anna Bright and Anna Leigh Waters def. (4) Jade Kawamoto and Jackie Kawamoto, 12-10, 11-3, 11-2.

• Bright and Waters: 15th title together.
• Waters: Match-high 9 Clean Winners.
• Jade Kawamoto: No errors on Serves/Returns/Thirds.
• Jade Kawamoto is the only left-handed female to win a PPA Tour title.
• Longest rally: 88 shots. 

MEN’S SINGLES FINAL: (6) Chris Haworth def. (7) Jack Sock, 11-8, 11-8.

• Haworth’s 4th career title. (Third in last six tournaments)
• Haworth had more Clean Winners, 18-7.
• Sock suffered an apparent hamstring injury on match point.
• Longest rally: 20 shots.

WOMEN’S SINGLES FINAL: (1) Anna Leigh Waters def. (2) Kate Fahey, 11-1, 11-4. 

• Waters completes her 40th career Triple Crown.
• 58^th career Singles title for Waters.
• Waters is 7-0 in finals vs Fahey.
• Waters had more Clean Winners, 13-1.
• Waters led Game One 10-0 and Game Two 7-0.
• Longest rally: 13 shots.
