Robinsn Malls Opens New Indoor Courts as Community Building Thru Pickleball Continues

Robinsons Malls is putting its pickleball push into high gear—and two new indoor courts are leading the charge.

The mall operator recently opened indoor pickleball facilities at Robinsons Galleria and Robinsons Las Piñas, the latest additions to a growing network of courts that now spans 13 locations nationwide. Designed as all-weather venues for casual games, friendly matches, training sessions, and community tournaments, the new courts give players a comfortable, accessible space to play year-round—rain or shine.

The indoor setup does more than just keep the elements out. Nestled within the mall environment, the courts put dining, wellness, entertainment, and leisure options within steps of the baseline—turning a post-match meal or a coffee run into part of the experience. It is the kind of holistic recreational proposition that Robinsons Malls has been building toward: spaces where the game is the reason you came, but not the only reason you stayed.

Beyond Galleria and Las Piñas, pickleball courts are already up and running at Robinsons Butuan, Robinsons Dasmariñas, Robinsons GenSan, Robinsons Jaro, Robinsons Naga, Robinsons North Tacloban, Robinsons Palawan, Robinsons Roxas, Robinsons Starmills, Robinsons Sta. Rosa, and Robinsons Tagum—a footprint that stretches from Luzon to Mindanao and speaks to the speed at which the sport has taken hold.

Pickleball’s rise in the Philippines has been swift and genuine. Easy to learn, highly social, and welcoming to beginners, the sport has drawn in fitness enthusiasts, young professionals, families, and first-time players alike—anyone looking for an active, enjoyable way to spend time with other people. Robinsons Malls has been paying attention, and the expansion of its court network is a direct response to that growing demand.

The courts also fit into a broader shift in how the mall operator sees itself—less as a purely retail destination, more as a community hub built around wellness, recreation, and shared experience. Pickleball is one piece of that, but it is a fitting one: a sport that is inherently communal, easy to get into, and difficult to stop once you have started.

Players can reserve courts at participating locations through the RMalls+ app. For updates, visit Robinsons Malls on Facebook and Instagram.
