The Pickleball Weekly’s Adriano Falco Receives DUPR Golden Pickle Business Award at World Pickleball Conference
Adriana Falco, the driving force behind The Pickleball Weekly, has been recognised with the 2026 DUPR Golden Pickle Business Award, presented during the CourtReserve World Pickleball Conference in Las Vegas.
For Falco, who serves as Founder and Editor-in-Chief, the accolade is more than personal.
“This award isn’t just recognition for me. It’s recognition that the stories of the people building pickleball every day deserve to be told,” she said.
The Golden Pickle Business Awards, backed by DUPR (Dynamic Universal Pickleball Rating), celebrate individuals whose leadership and vision are shaping the sport’s future. Falco joined a distinguished group of honourees, including Gordon G.G. Gebert of the National Pickleball League, Dave Johnson of Chicken N Pickle, Adam Bricker of Pickleball Cards, and Glenn Gara of 1st Source Lighting.
“Receiving a 2026 DUPR Golden Pickle Business Award is an incredible honour, especially because I share it with Gordon, Dave, Adam, and Glenn, each of whom is making a lasting impact on the growth of pickleball,” Falco added.
Under her stewardship, The Pickleball Weekly has quickly established itself as a leading global digital publication. It delivers original reporting, gear reviews, travel features, and community insights to readers in more than 75 countries. The publication produces over 3,500 pages of sports journalism annually—more than the combined output of traditional pickleball print outlets—and does so entirely free of charge, with a multilingual digital format accessible worldwide.
Adriana Falco reflected on her vision when she launched the magazine in October 2025: “When I launched The Pickleball Weekly, my vision was simple: to tell the stories that matter, from the smallest local clubs to the biggest moments shaping our sport, while showcasing the people, places, and ideas driving pickleball forward around the world. This recognition is a testament to the passion of our readers and an incredible reminder that those stories matter.”
Her award underscores not only her personal commitment but also the growing influence of pickleball journalism in connecting communities and amplifying the voices behind the sport’s rapid rise.
