Stupa Sports has taken another step in expanding its footprint across Southeast Asia, announcing a strategic partnership with D‑Joy Pickleball, a professional club, training academy, and tournament organiser based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
The collaboration will see Stupa’s AI‑powered sports technology deployed at two major events this year—the D‑Joy Pickleball Tour – Leg 3 from September 9 to 13, and the D‑Joy Vietnam Masters 2026 from November 24 to 29. Beyond 2026, the partnership is set to continue, with both sides signing a Memorandum of Understanding to integrate Stupa’s technology into D‑Joy’s tournaments in 2027.
As part of the deal, Stupa will provide an integrated technology ecosystem across the competitions. That includes AI‑powered officiating, real‑time performance analytics, and broadcast data. Officials will have access to AI‑driven VAR for line and match decisions, while players and coaches will benefit from Stupa’s Match Analytics platform, which delivers insights on serving and returning, rally patterns, shot performance, errors, point distribution, leads, and winning trends. Broadcasters, meanwhile, will be able to enhance coverage with 3D graphics powered by real‑time match data.
For Stupa, the partnership underscores how technology is becoming central to professional pickleball. “Pickleball is evolving rapidly as a global sport, and technology will play an important role in shaping how the game is officiated, analysed and experienced,” said Megha Gambhir, Co‑Founder and CEO of Stupa Sports. She added that the collaboration with D‑Joy not only supports two key tournaments this year but also lays the foundation for a longer‑term relationship.
D‑Joy Tournament Director Hoang Hai Thuy echoed the sentiment, calling the partnership “an important milestone” for the club. “It enhances officiating accuracy, delivers deeper performance insights, and elevates the overall experience for players and audiences,” he said.
The move further strengthens Stupa’s international presence across racquet sports. The company has steadily expanded its AI‑powered solutions in officiating, live scoring, tournament management, broadcast intelligence, and performance analysis. Recent deployments across pickleball, badminton, table tennis, and padel highlight its growing role in shaping the global sports ecosystem.
