Parañaque Titans Unveils MPPT Roster, Set to Make Noise in Manny Pacquiao’s Pro League
The Parañaque Titans have officially unveiled their full 10‑athlete roster for the inaugural Maharlika Pilipinas Pickleball Tour (MPPT), and the squad looks built to contend from day one.
Headlining the roster are Leander Paez Lazaro and Sarah Jane Restauro Lim, two of the country’s most decorated pickleball players. Lazaro, a national team mainstay and gold medalist at the Pickleball Viet Open, anchors the men’s side with his doubles pedigree and leadership. Lim, widely regarded as the Philippines’ top female pickleball player, brings nearly two decades of competitive tennis experience and championship composure to the women’s lineup.
They’re joined by a formidable cast: Ruben Antonio Gonzales Jr., former Davis Cup representative and SEA Games gold medalist; Jessica Marie Agra, the nation’s No. 1 padel player and international pickleball medalist; Nik Alessandro Isagan, part of the Philippine squad that swept Vietnam in the Pickleball Champions League Asia; and Fatima Ayesha Amirul, joint MVP of the 2025 Shenzhen finals.
Rounding out the roster are Christian Josua “CJ” Luna, a trailblazer in the local scene; Matt Daniel Navarro, the youngest player in the league and a rising force in Manila’s Open division; Danica Calma Bautista, a fixture in Luzon’s competitive circuit; and Mikhyla Julianne Cruz, the breakout talent representing the next generation of fearless Filipino pickleball athletes.

The Titans are powered by team owners Tina Mariano, Jeff Tin, Long Kuan, and Atty. Albert Agra, with support from founding partners Polland Hopia, Tela Athletics, and Tela Park. The launch was marked by a contract signing and press briefing at Tela Park in Parañaque City, where management declared: “Today isn’t just a contract signing—it’s the moment ten athletes became one team.”
The MPPT, founded by boxing legend Manny Pacquiao, kicks off October 3‑4 in Angeles City, Pampanga. Each leg winner takes home ₱1 million, making the stakes high from the very start.
For the Titans, the mission is clear: they didn’t just assemble good players, they went after the best. With national team veterans, international medalists, and hungry young talents all under one banner, Parañaque is positioning itself as a powerhouse ready to storm Pacquiao’s pro pickleball league.
