Pickleball World Cup 2025 All Set, 68 Teams Ready to Clash for National Pride, Sporting Supremacy

The Pickleball World Cup 2025 is just days away. Scheduled to start on 27 October 2025, this prestigious tournament will run until 2 November 2025 and will be held in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, in the US.

Recognised by the Global Pickleball Federation, the Pickleball World Cup 2025 will feature 68 delegations from different countries, grouped according to their continental region of origin, who will battle it out in a six-match round-robin phase. Each match will consist of six games played up to 15 points under a rally scoring system implementing a win-by-two rule. The six matches will include Women’s Doubles, Men’s Doubles, Mixed Doubles 1, Mixed Doubles 2, Women’s Singles, and Men’s Singles.

Following the group phase, only 34 teams will advance to the knockout rounds. Here, all matches will be played to 21 points, with the same win-by-two rule. Winners will progress through the successive rounds until a champion is crowned.

Puerto Rico, which won the inaugural edition of the Pickleball World Cup, is among the top seeds of the tournament, alongside Peru and Chinese Taipei, both of which won medals in last year’s competition. The other top seed is the US.
