What Is PPA Asia 125? Making Sense of New Circuit for Emerging Pickleball Talent

The PPA Tour Asia recently launched PPA Asia 125 with PickleSlam 2026 in Singapore. The tournament is scheduled from 11–19 April 2026 and will take place at the Jurong Play Grounds.

But what exactly is PPA Asia 125?

What Is PPA Asia 125?

Put simply, PPA Asia 125 is the latest addition to Asia’s booming pickleball scene. It is a new circuit that will serve as a platform for emerging talent, rising regional pros, and established players climbing back up the rankings to compete across Asia. In other words, it is another pathway to professional pickleball.

How PPA Asia 125 Works

PPA Asia 125 runs in parallel with PPA Tour Asia, bringing tournaments closer to local courts and players across the region.

Players competing in Pro events earn points towards the PPA Rankings. This makes ranking in the pro circuit more accessible and provides more opportunities for professionals, with the ultimate goal of helping them climb the global pickleball ladder.

Champions also secure free entry into the next PPA Asia 500 stop, putting them across the net against the best players in Asia and the world.

However, titles are tracked separately from PPA Tour Asia, preserving the distinction while creating clear pathways for players to the premier level.

Ranking Points Breakdown, Prize Money, and Format

Points in PPA Asia 125 are awarded based on tournament finish (draw size dependent):

Each PPA Asia 125 stop guarantees a minimum of USD $10,000 in prize money, distributed across all Pro events.

Meanwhile, events will adopt single-day formats for rapid-fire competition.

PPA Asia 125 is here: more tournaments, more competition, and more chances to build your ranking. This is your platform, your opportunity, your pathway.
