MLP’s Florida Smash Names Orlando Health as Title Partner

Major League Pickleball’s Florida team, the Florida Smash, has announced the Orlando Health as its title sponsor and Official Medical Team. The multi-year partnership marks a major milestone, aligning Florida’s premier healthcare system with the region’s fastest-growing professional sport.
“Pickleball represents everything we believe in when it comes to community health—it’s active, inclusive, and brings people together,” said Ultima Espino, Senior Director of Sports Partnerships at Orlando Health. “Partnering with the Florida Smash allows us to support high-performance athletes at the top of their game, while also promoting the importance of movement, recovery, and injury prevention for all ages and skill levels. We’re proud to support the team and the fans who fuel this sport’s incredible momentum.”
Based in St. Petersburg, Florida, the Florida Smash competes at the Challenger level within the MLP league. The team prides itself on delivering top-tier pickleball and unmatched community engagement. Orlando Health, on the other hand, is a not–for–profit healthcare organisation headquartered in Orlando, Florida and is renowned for its commitment to high-quality patient care, cutting-edge research, and community wellness initiatives.
“We are excited to welcome Orlando Health as our title sponsor. Their leadership in community health and wellness aligns perfectly with the core values of pickleball: active lifestyles, accessibility, and family–friendly fun. With Orlando Health beside us, the Florida Smash—and our fans—will be stronger than ever,” added Trevor Burgess, principal owner of the Florida Smash.
Orlando Health branding will appear on Florida Smash uniforms, digital platforms, and court-side signage at team activations. The team’s professional athletes are also looking forward to the focused and specialised care Orlando Health is offering to help keep them in peak condition all season
