Finally, Singapore’s TSA @ Jalan Kayu Is Set to Open

Remember The Sports Arina @ Jalan Kayu (TSA @ Jalan Kayu) in Singapore? We reported back in January that it would be the Lion City’s next spanking-new pickleball hotspot. We also gave you an early look at it, right?
Now, its grand opening is at hand as it is set to formally open its doors in the end of April.
Meaning, Fernvale residents are about to have very little excuse not to get active.
The Sports Arina @ Jalan Kayu is set to open by the end of April 2026, right next to Thanggam LRT statio—and, as we already reported, it is set to become one of the more comprehensive sports and recreation offerings Singapore has seen in a single venue.
What’s Inside TSA @ Jalan kayu
The facility is going big on variety. Under one roof: an indoor pickleball court, futsal, padel, badminton, and table tennis courts, a swimming pool and children’s training pool, a gymnastics gym, a pilates studio, a multi-purpose hall, and a contrast therapy facility. It is the kind of line-up that covers everything from competitive sport to recovery—a rare combination at a community-level venue.
The pickleball hall will be fully enclosed, soundproofing will be incorporated where needed, and greenery will be planted around the perimeter to soften noise levels for the surrounding residential neighbourhood. The venue has clearly been designed with its neighbours in mind.
The Names Behind the Programmes
The facilities alone would make this worth paying attention to. The programming takes it further.
Swim classes for young children will be held in a heated learner pool by Swim Lab—the programme founded by Olympic gold medallist Joseph Schooling. Table tennis development will be led by an academy set up by Feng Tian Wei, the triple Olympic medallist who remains one of the most decorated athletes in Singapore’s sporting history. And football classes for children will be delivered by the Lion City Sailors Football School, run by one of the most recognised professional clubs in the Singapore Premier League.
Three Olympic medallists’ programmes under one roof is not something you see every day at a community sports hub.
When Can You Sign Up?
An exact opening date has not yet been confirmed beyond the end-of-April target. Those interested in programmes and facilities can register their interest through The Sports Arina @ Jalan Kayu’s official registration portal.
For a residential area that has been underserved by sports infrastructure, this is a significant addition—and with names like Schooling and Feng Tian Wei attached to the programming, it is one worth watching closely.
As of press time, the exact opening date hasn’t been announced. But if you’re interested, do check out TSA @ Jalan Kayu’s official registration portal here.
