Pickleball continues to find new footholds across Singapore, and its next landing spot is Jalan Kayu.
On 19 January 2026, The Sports Arina (TSA) hosted an exclusive preview of its upcoming TSA @ Jalan Kayu venue, giving invited guests an early look at what will soon become the largest privately operated multi-sports facility in the area. Among the many offerings at the development is pickleball, which will sit alongside a range of other sporting and wellness facilities when the venue opens.
Designed as a comprehensive multi-sport and wellness hub, TSA @ Jalan Kayu is being positioned as a community-focused space catering to residents of all ages. Pickleball will be part of a wider ecosystem that includes badminton, futsal, padel, gymnastics, Pilates, swimming, table tennis, and contrast therapy—bringing structured programmes and casual recreational play under one roof.
The inclusion of pickleball reflects the venue’s broader aim of making sport accessible while supporting long-term participation. As interest in the sport continues to grow, dedicated facilities within an integrated community setting could provide players with a more sustainable and organised environment to play, train, and connect.
The development will be supported by established sporting organisations and athlete-led programmes that are expected to shape the venue’s offerings once it opens. These partnerships include collaborations with Olympic champion Joseph Schooling and the Lion City Sailors Football School, underscoring TSA’s emphasis on structured pathways and continued engagement in sport.
Richard Tan, owner of TSA, said the organisation’s approach is grounded in the belief that sport should be a lifelong pursuit.

The preview was also attended by Ng Chee Meng, Adviser to Jalan Kayu Grassroots Organisations, who highlighted the venue’s role beyond sport alone.
“The Sports Arina @ Jalan Kayu is more than just a sports venue—it is more importantly a gathering place for our residents to come together, stay active, and build bonds,” he said. “By bringing high-quality facilities into the heart of our community, I would like to create opportunities for families, youth, and seniors alike to embrace healthier lifestyles and stronger connections.”
TSA @ Jalan Kayu is expected to open sometime during the first quarter of 2026. Members of the community can register their interest in programmes and facilities ahead of the venue’s opening, as anticipation builds for what could become a new hub for pickleball and community sport in the area.
