Pickleball’s rise in Vietnam has taken another step forward with the announcement of the World Entrepreneur Tournament 2026, a competition that blends sport, business, and international exchange. The Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association revealed the plans at a press conference in Hanoi on 9 July 2026, setting the stage for an event designed to showcase both athletic skill and entrepreneurial spirit.
The tournament will run from 2 to 4 September 2026 in Da Nang, drawing more than 1,600 participants from Vietnam and 80 other countries and territories. Organisers see it as more than a sporting fixture—it is a chance to connect entrepreneurs across borders, to build friendships, and to highlight Vietnam’s growing role in the global pickleball community.
Open to All
Registration is straightforward. Athletes do not need to belong to any association or federation; they simply need to meet the competition requirements. The programme features 26 doubles events, ranging from leadership contests to beginner and intermediate brackets. Each player can enter up to two events per day, with age categories determined by the year of the tournament under the Pickleball Years system.

Nearly 800 million VND in prize money will be on the line, underscoring the scale of the competition. Yet the organisers stress that the true value lies in the connections forged and the culture of improvement fostered.
