Bank of Singapore Announces Exclusive Pickleball Corporate Challenge at National Stadium in 2026
The Bank of Singapore, the private banking subsidiary of OCBC Group, has announced that it will be holding an exclusive, invite-only pickleball corporate challenge next year. This special competition will be part of a pickleball programme that includes the opening of new dual-purpose pickleball courts and the holding of a pickleball tournament at the National Stadium in Kallang.
OCBC Group, which is composed of OCBC Bank, BOS, and insurer Great Eastern, made the announcement over the weekend. According to the group, this corporate challenge will be a “special category” for pickleball enthusiasts from leading corporations and Bank of Singapore clients.
The corporate challenge is being organised by the Bank of Singapore and OCBC Group in partnership with Singapore Sports Hub and Kallang Alive Sport Management. Exact dates of the competition haven’t been announced yet, but it is expected to be held in the days preceding the main events—the opening of the new pickleball courts and the main tournament, which the OCBC Group described in a press release as “one of Southeast Asia’s largest pickleball tournaments.”
The new courts set to open in January 2026 are two junior courts at the Kallang Tennis Hub and three basketball courts at the Promenade, which will be repurposed into pickleball facilities. In all, opening these new courts will add more than 20,000 hours of pickleball play in Singapore each year.
The three-day tournament, meanwhile, is expected to attract over 2,000 players, who will be competing on more than 20 courts that will be set up inside the National Stadium.
