With this plan, the DUPR will be partnering with some of the best video and hardware technology providers in the world, with the ultimate aim of unlocking a new layer of understanding in pickleball performance. Matches captured on video will then be scrutinised by DUPR Vision for AI-driven analysis that goes well beyond basic results.
This technology will allow the DUPR to start identifying patterns such as:
- Shot selection and success rates
- Miss frequency and error types
- Targeting tendencies
- Consistency under pressure
- Relative performance within a match
Over time, data gleaned from this AI-powered system will create the foundation for deeper insights into how games are actually played, not just how they end.
