Epic World Championships in Singapore Gets More Notable Brands Onboard as Opening Nears
The inaugural Epic World Championship is turning out to be a big deal in Singapore.
A four-day amateur pickleball tournament supported by the Singapore Tourism Board (STB), the Epic World Championship starts at the end of this month and is set to bring in over 1,300 people from more than 60 countries. It will take place from 30 April to 3 May 2026 at the Kallang Tennis Hub and will offer a guaranteed prize purse of at least USD $50,000.
And, indeed, the Epic World Championship is shaping up to be a potentially epic tournament—so much so that brands, local and global, are throwing their full support behind it. In fact, with the Epic World Championship just a few days away, organisers have announced the competition’s corporate partners, and they include a few that are getting involved with a major pickleball event for the first time.
Among these successful brands are Coca-Cola, QBE Insurance, Genting Dream Cruise, and HotelPlanner. Other companies that have signed deals to be associated with Epic are Singtel, KPay, Carlsberg, Grab, and Oatside. The most recent one to join is Stellantis, a multinational automotive giant formed in 2021 through the merger of Fiat Chrysler Automobiles and France’s PSA Group. Specifically, Stellantis ASEAN is set to be Epic’s official automotive partner, with Leapmotor by Cycle & Carriage and Alfa Romeo by Red Rock & Rosso Motor both set to be showcased at the competition.
“Pickleball is a sport defined by its dynamic energy and rapid evolution—qualities that mirror our own commitment to transforming the future of electric mobility in the region,” said Isaac Yeo, Managing Director of Stellantis ASEAN, on why the brand got involved with the Epic World Championship.
For Jason Lim, Head of Communications at Epic, pickleball’s “explosive growth” in Singapore is driving companies left and right to get in on the action.
“The support Epic has received from corporate partners is a clear testament to the power that this sport has to engage, activate, and excite players, spectators, and communities,” Lim noted.
The Epic World Championship is sanctioned by the Singapore Pickleball Association and the Asian Pickleball Association, with STB on board for three years. It features men’s doubles, women’s doubles, mixed doubles, a team category, and a corporate championship. There will also be a charity event that supports the Centre for Fathering in Singapore.
