The one-day workshop will run from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and will be held at Tamarind Square, Persiaran Multimedia, Cyber 10, 63000 Cyberjaya, Selangor Darul Ehsan. The classroom session will specifically take place at Unit 7, Tamarind Square Cyberjaya, while the court session will be at HyperGround Courts, Tamarind Square Cyberjaya. The registration fee is RM1,500.
What Is PPR Level 1 Certification and Why Does It Matter?
The PPR Level 1 Certification is an entry-level coaching certification designed for individuals who want to become certified pickleball instructors. It provides the foundational knowledge and practical skills needed to teach the sport effectively and safely.
The purpose of undergoing PPR Level 1 Certification is to certify that a coach has met the minimum teaching standards in pickleball instruction, including understanding the rules, techniques, and teaching methods. The training, which includes both online coursework and an in-person workshop, ensures that participants have a good understanding of pickleball fundamentals and can proceed to the next level of their coaching journey.
In other words, the PPR Level 1 Certification confirms that a person is qualified to coach beginner to intermediate players and can run structured, safe, and engaging lessons. Most countries, if not all, offer this type of certification as an international coaching credential.
