Lion City Gets Much-Deserved PPA Tour Asia Love, to Host Singapore Open in July
Singapore will be hosting its first-ever PPA Tour event come July.
On Wednesday, the PPA Tour Asia announced its full schedule for 2026, and it includes a stop in the Lion City by way of the PPA Asia 500 Singapore Open. This high-level tournament will be held from 23 to 26 July 2026 and will be the sixth stop of the tour, which will begin in April with the MB Hanoi Cup.
But even before the Singapore Open in July, the city-state will already be welcoming the PPA Tour by way of PickleSlam 2026, a PPA Asia 125 event that will take place from 11 to 19 April 2026.
PickleSlam 2026: The Appetiser to the Singapore Open
The PPA Asia 125 series runs parallel to the PPA Tour Asia, serving as another viable pathway for emerging talent to compete at an elite level. Specifically, PPA Asia 125 is a new series that brings PPA points to more courts across the world’s largest continent. It is a platform for emerging talent to compete at an elite level. Players competing in Pro divisions earn points towards PPA Tour rankings, with up to 125 points for the winners. Tournament champions also secure free entry into the next PPA Asia 500 event.
PPA Asia 125 will kick off in Singapore with PickleSlam 2026, which will be played at Jurong Play Grounds on Jurong Gateway Road. This inaugural tournament will be hosted by PickleGO in Singapore and will be the third PickleSlam ever, but the first with PPA Tour Asia.
Then, after three months, the main course, so to speak—the Singapore Open—will take place as the PPA Tour descends on the Lion City for the first time ever.
