Phuc Huynh Donates Petrolimex Cup 2025 Bonus to Relief Initiative for Vietnam’s Flood Victims
Back in September at the MB Vietnam Open, Vietnamese pickleball sensation Phuc Huynh thrilled his hometown by winning the championship in Men’s Singles, though it came at the expense of compatriot Hoang Nam Ly.
Over the weekend, Huynh had a golden opportunity to recreate that magic at the finals of the D-Joy Vietnam Master Petrolimex Cup 2025—and against Vietnam’s very own pickleball prodigy, Quang Duong, no less. Huynh ultimately fell short against the former PPA Tour star, losing 2-0 (11-4, 11-4) to Duong, who is generally regarded as Asia’s finest pickleball player on the men’s side.
Phuc Huynh Donates 30 Million VND for Flood Victims
While Phuc Huynh could not complete what would’ve been a career-defining victory, he still went out of his way to help flood victims in the Central Region of Vietnam, which has been battered by nonstop torrential rains and widespread catastrophic flooding. Specifically, Huynh donated 30 million VND (USD $1,134) to the Central Committee of the Fatherland Front to aid flood victims in Vietnam.

Phuc Huynh later joined Quang Duong in India, where the two are now playing in the Indian Pickleball League.
