PlanOut Opens Pre-Registration to Pickleball Open with ₱1M Prize Pool
PlanOut, an app that allows people to purchase and manage tickets for outdoor adventures, has opened pre-registration for the Pickleball Open, a million-peso pickleball competition to be held from 1 to 3 May 2026 in Dumaguete.
The Pickleball Open is co-organised by PlanOut and aims to accomplish the following:
- Strengthen Dumaguete’s presence in the Philippines’ pickleball scene
- Support sports tourism in the city
- Attract visitors for multi-day stays
Dumaguete is a coastal city in the central Philippines and is the capital of Negros Oriental, a province in the Central Visayas region. It is famously known as “The City of Gentle People” and is known for its relaxed pace of life, friendly residents, and strong academic culture. It boasts a famous seaside boulevard and is the gateway to natural attractions in Negros Oriental.
Pre-registration for the Pickleball Open is now open at https://planout.typeform.com/pickleball-v2. The official registration is scheduled on 11 April 2026, at 1:00 p.m., via the PlanOut app.
Additionally, an on-ground registration will also be opened during the launch of PlanOut V2, a mobile event-technology platform designed to streamline community and outdoor event operations for event organisers, local government units, schools, clubs, and sporting institutions nationwide.
The launch of PlanOut V2 is also scheduled on 11 April 2026, at 11:11 a.m., in Dumaguete.
The exact venue of the Pickleball Open is yet to be announced, as are the other details of the event.
