Quang Duong Fires Back at ‘Fans’ Who Worry About His Training with ‘New Schedule’ for 2025

It’s not even the end of January and Vietnamese pickleball sensation Quang Duong has already figured in a couple of controversies. There was the now infamous paddle switch at Zimmer Biomet. Then there was the episode with Ben Johns, also in the same tournament.

Now, it appears some fans—or maybe pundits—aren’t too pleased with the young man’s training. Ever accommodating, the Asian superstar pickler thought it prudent to adjust accordingly.

On Tuesday, the 18-year-old posted on social media what he claims as his “new schedule 2025.” And it has some interesting additions.

Take a look:

Imagine one of the world’s best picklers training MMA in the morning—and then ducking balls, arrows, and bullets in the afternoon. Though, if anything, the world knows Quang is pretty good at dodging balls already, deftly avoiding Ben’s “warning shot” a few weeks ago. And that incident is probably why Quang included the ducking balls bit in his “revised” program, along with “counterattack training.”

From the looks of it, Quang is down to getting it on with those who dare challenge him. Or are we reading too much into what’s obviously a satirical clapback at critics? Whatever the case, it definitely seems like the young pickleball sensation is in fighting form in more ways than one.
