TATAP, Partners Open Pickleball and Table Tennis Centre in General Santos City in Philippines
The Table Tennis Association of the Philippines (TATAP), in partnership with local brands Prettylooks and Spinora, is going above and beyond in promoting two popular racquet sports in the country: table tennis and pickleball. Proof of this commitment is TATAP opening the first-ever indoor pickleball court in General Santos City, one of the thriving cities in the southern portion of the Philippines.
The new facility is located on the 2nd floor of the GMall Atrium and is poised to become the city’s premier venue for both pickleball and table tennis. According to TATAP, the soon-to-open facility will be the most stylish and vibrant destination for the two racquet sports.
“Our new pickleball and table tennis centre welcomes players of all levels to dink, drive, rally, and smash in a dynamic indoor setting,” TATAP said in a statement about the facility.
The indoor court is designed for both performance and player safety. Among its key features is premium floor matting that enhances comfort and helps minimise knee strain, allowing players to move confidently and play at their best.
TATAP President Jose Ortalla Jr. recently announced that the facility’s soft opening is scheduled for 1 March 2026, as equipment shipments from China experienced a brief delay.
TATAP and its partners also expressed their appreciation to the GMall management for giving the collaboration the opportunity to bring this exciting sporting experience to the Atrium.
The new pickleball and table tennis centre will be open daily from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
