Tech meets pickleball. The world’s fastest-rising sport and innovation intersected again when Alibaba Cloud Malaysia launched PickleConnect, an ambitious initiative that blends technology with sports—or, in this case, specifically, pickleball.
PickleConnect highlights Alibaba Cloud’s WAN 2.6 platform and Tabspace AI, which boasts advanced artificial intelligence (AI) video generation and storytelling tools for businesses and content creators.
Alibaba Cloud describes PickleConnect as a platform to create collaborative spaces where innovation and community interaction meet, with pickleball serving as the social anchor point that brings together players, technology enthusiasts, content creators, and the larger community.
Attendees at the launch included industry professionals and developers who experienced live demonstrations of how generative AI can help in content creation and digital engagement across various sectors, including sports, and pickleball specifically.
