Pickleball is coming to the Kallang Hard Courts—and you do not need to know anything about the sport to show up.
The Kallang Group and OCBC have announced the launch of the OCBC-Great Eastern Pickleball series, a structured clinic program designed for beginners and recreational players across all age groups. No prior experience is required, and paddles and balls are provided at every session, so there is no barrier to getting started.
The series runs across four editions over the next six months—April, May, August, and September—with each clinic running two hours. Sessions are held at The Kallang Hard Courts near Gate 13 of the National Stadium.
Three categories are available. Adult clinics are held on Fridays, with sessions running 6–8 p.m. and 7:30–9:30 p.m. on 24 April, 15 May, 21 August, and 4 September. Youth clinics for ages 13–20 run on Saturdays from 8–10 a.m. and 9:30–11:30 a.m. on 25 April, 16 May, 22 August, and 5 September.
The standout option is the Multi-Generation category, which requires a joint registration of one child under 21, one adult, and one senior aged 60 and above. It runs on the same dates as the youth sessions and is structured specifically for families who want to stay active together across generations.
Pricing is straightforward. Adult sessions are SGD $15 per session, youth sessions are SGD $10, and multi-generation groups are SGD $28 per session. All prices are inclusive of GST. Each session is capped at 36 participants.
The clinic series builds toward something bigger. Following the conclusion of all four editions, the inaugural OCBC-Great Eastern Pickleball Open tournament is scheduled for 23–25 October 2026.
