Several Asian players have broken into the top 15 of the PPA Tour Global Rankings, led by Hong Kong’s Jack Wong Hong-kit and Chinese Taipei’s Chao Yi Wang.
Wang is the highest-placed Asian contender overall, currently sixth in Women’s Singles with 6,200 points accrued across 22 tournaments. She also holds the distinction of being the only Asian player in the top 15 in three categories—Women’s Singles, Women’s Doubles, and Mixed Doubles. Wang sits at No. 12 in Women’s Doubles with 5,850 points from 21 tournaments, and at No. 12 in Mixed Doubles with 3,600 points from 20 tournaments.
China’s Yufei Long, meanwhile, is ranked No. 12 in Women’s Singles with 3,000 points from 14 competitions. Alix Truong is the third female Asian player to reach the top 15 in any category, currently ranked 10th in Mixed Doubles with 4,550 points from 21 tournaments.
Asian Men Break Through
On the men’s side, Wong Hong-kit is ranked 10th globally with 4,225 points accumulated from 15 competitions. He was previously at No. 14 but climbed four places after winning Men’s Singles gold at the Leapmotor Singapore Open 2026 over the weekend—his third straight overall. Joining Hong Kong’s standout in the Men’s Singles top 15 is Vietnam’s Hien Truong, ranked No. 15 with 3,300 points from just eight tournaments. India’s Arman Bhatia also features, sitting at No. 14 in Men’s Doubles with 4,387 points from 16 tournaments.
Global Leaders Hold Firm
Unsurprisingly, the top tier of the rankings remains dominated by PPA Tour superstars. Chris Haworth, Federico Staksrud, and Hunter Johnson occupy the top three in Men’s Singles, while Anna Leigh Waters, Kate Fahey, and Brooke Buckner lead Women’s Singles. Men’s Doubles is topped by Ben Johns, Gabriel Tardio, and Christian Alshon, with Women’s Doubles led by Waters, Anna Bright, and Tyra Hurricane Black. Interestingly, Staksrud, Waters, Johns, Tardio, and Alshon are among the notable names who have also competed in the PPA Tour Asia.
The top three in Men’s Mixed Doubles are Ben Johns, Hayden Patriquin, and JW Johnson, while the women’s side is headed by Waters, Bright, and Jorja Johnson.
