The International Testing Agency (ITA), on behalf of the Global Pickleball Federation (GPF), will be holding a Clean Sport Education Webinar on 24 February 2026, from 9:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Singapore/Malaysia/Philippine time.
The GPF and ITA previously announced a partnership in December to develop and progressively implement an independent and comprehensive anti-doping programme for pickleball over the course of the next four years. This collaboration marks an important milestone for one of the world’s fastest-growing sports and reinforces the GPF’s commitment to athlete protection, fair play, and strong governance amid pickleball’s global expansion.
Being clean in sport—pickleball in this case—is a shared responsibility among athletes, coaches, medical personnel, athlete support personnel, and all other stakeholders. To help ensure this, it is important for everyone to know the rules, understand what they mean, and follow them to the letter. This protects not only the athletes’ integrity but that of pickleball as well.
This is where the ITA-GPF webinar comes in. It will cover the key information participants need to know about doping and how to stay clean, tackle practical scenarios to ensure confidence in making informed decisions, and provide the tools needed to succeed.
GPF board member Mark Fabbro will join the webinar and speak about the importance of clean sport to the pickleball community. This will be followed by a live Q&A session to address participants’ questions and concerns. The webinar will be delivered in English, with automated translated captions available, and all attendees will receive a PDF of the webinar presentation, including links to the resources covered.
